Student Ambassadors were a casual support role that undertook jobs for various members of the University with shifts organised through Campus Life until their replacement with the UniCrew role from 2019. The work available was highly varied and usually required working in small groups. Roles I undertook in my time included: stock taking, welcome bag packing, crowd management, event set up and pack down and face-to-face student assistance (e.g. during orientations or Courses and Careers day).

In Semester One of the 2017 and 2018 university years I assisted the Statistics Department's delivery of their large first year introductory statistics paper by marking its periodic assignments: three in 2017 and two in 2018 (of three). This role required working independently to mark approximately fifty assignments within a timeframe appropriate for the needs of the students and teaching staff for STATS 101/8/G.
