Supervise CAD interns, oversee refinery P&ID's. Managed from concept, a highly visible and important environmental program, to procure and install FCC flue gas scrubber, overseeing the contract engineering, major demolition, internal labor and outsourced construction labor. Project cost $13.5M. Directed engineering, construction, financing and operation for a solid waste disposal plant resulting in a $4.5M annual cost avoidance eliminating a $1.0M capital investment. William Orrill; Coordinated the engineering, procurement and construction to install a water softening system reducing costs $1.0M for chemicals and equipment maintenance. Project cost $2.5M Purchased equipment and provided engineering to install a 50m BTU crude oil heater resulting in a product throughput saving of approx. $2m annually. Project cost $4.5m. Assisted with planning, scope preparation, bid packages and supervised contractors for major maintenance, routine plant maintenance and unit turnarounds.
