During my time as a Product/Manufacturing Intern, I gained valuable experience in the field of product engineering. In my four months as an intern, I worked on thermodynamic, heat transfer, and acoustic analysis and optimization of vacuum products. I updated laboratory testing capability by introducing advanced data collection techniques, and I also programmed and helped to implement a test submission database focused on ease of laboratory metric tracking.

Facilitated the release of a new product line through the prototype testing phase and performed experimental design to optimize product performance. Worked with the international sales force to create over 100 customer specific prototypes to generate hype and interest in the new product line.

Created work instructions for compressor systems, and implemented a better packaging design for larger systems. Also updated BOMs to accurately track inventory and product components.
