Developed go-to-market strategy and comprehensive financial model to accelerate launch of early stage blockchain crypto-asset start-up being spun out of a prominent US hedge fund, led effort with CEO for a series A round of capital.Led efforts for a $20M capital raise for early-stage environmental blockchain crypto-asset company catering to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) requirements of public companies. Negotiated and closed strategic partnerships with IBM Garage, Stellar (blockchain) and traditional environmental market intermediaries for digitized carbon credits.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, established business development strategy and operational process. Initiated and focused on driving institutional commercial growth in the U.S. and Europe. Developed strategic roadmap for institutional business growth to expand distribution and deepen liquidity on the trading platform.Established key relationships and partnerships with traditional global institutional firms both on buy side and sell side. Defined and introduced the mini-IPC Index futures contract.

Developed and established a three-year strategic technology plan incorporating, regulatory financial reform requirements per Dodd Frank legislation, global consolidation of operations, mid-to-back office systems consolidation to maintain and grow position as one of top three tier one banks in the changing OTC markets. Managed and drove evaluation of joint venture/acquisition opportunities relative to derivatives & FX post trade operations and technology.

Cleared OTC Interest Rate Swaps trading platform and OTC desk acquired by CME Group. Aligned to CME Group's Interest Rate Swap strategy and prepared the Swapstream platform for cleared OTC IRS products. Responsible for IT, trading platform product development, trade desk, compliance and back office operations and technology. Transitioned from IT to the Corporate PMO. Drove cross divisional corporate wide strategic initiatives. Responsible for integration planning for the acquisition of Chicago Board of Trade, specifically the Products and Services divisions and Market Operations Divisions. Executed due diligence and acquisition of Swapstream LTD, an interest rate swap trading platform in London, UK. Worked closely with the executive team of Swapstream to establish a plan and roadmap to improve the trading platform and launch the first cleared interest rate swap product. Selected for the role as Chief Operating Officer for Swapstream a CME Group Company.

Progressive responsibilities during this period from programmer, to development lead to technical project management and leading/managing a team of 20+ systems application developers and technical QA testers. Restructured technical testing framework consisting of segregated test environments, regression testing automation, test harnesses and best practices. Implemented integrated component QA process and change control process across systems software development, network infrastructure, and databases.
