Employed as a client facing Project Manager to manage branding and communications projects for key accounts at Korn Ferry within EMEA. I was heavily involved in developing the tools to deliver projects in a streamlined and efficient way. My remit included carrying out up-front research and investigation around clients’ target talent and key talent competitors, developing a creative route, and ultimately delivering tailored online and offline marketing materials. These include creation and development of careers microsites, digital asset libraries for use across social media, printed brochures, as well as supporting clients with managing events. Key aspects of my role included resourcing, scoping, forecasting and financial tracking on a range of complex projects with multiple stakeholders across different time zones.

Having been recruited from REAL Digital, who were still a key supplier to SIMS, I was brought into the Royal Mail Account Management team. As well as managing the delivery of multiple ad-hoc direct mail campaigns, brochures, booklets and leaflets, I also successfully managed the replacement of every postbox Timeplate around the country, proofing, printing and liaising with contractors carrying out the installations within their respective postcode areas. Forecasting, ROI and up-selling were essential in the role, particularly for Royal Mail as the company were governed by strict SLAs and targets which were reviewed on a monthly basis.

Scheduling, briefing, invoicing and efficient administration of customers’ campaigns was a major part of my working day, while managing clients’ expectations and offering expertise in the field of print and mail distribution completed my role as a reliable and accomplished Account Manager.

The role was predominantly a client facing one with the primary aim being to control and manage the printing, personalisation and distribution of direct mail and marketing material.
