Contributed to the entire development life cycle of State Farm’s current Auto Quote and Purchase application. This application is the primary gateway to obtain an auto quote and purchase a policy for State Farm customers. Our development was mobile-first, Agile, and completed within 3 years. At my time of departure, we had expanded to over 30 states and the application was processing 2-3 million quotes/monthly.As a principal engineer, solved exploratory, performance, and production defects for the State Farm Auto Quote and Purchase application. The defects ranged from medium to critical. This work included debugging code, monitoring logs, testing, and creating new versions of the application.Integrated Prospector+, a marketing tool for State Farm agents. The tool creates tens of thousands leads and prospects a day that agents can follow up with to gain new customers.Planned, designed, built, and implemented RSA Archer for State Farm’s Information Security department. Archer creates real time, accurate reports regarding breach concerns and actual occurrences. The RSA Archer tool has since been expanded to several different State Farm functionalities and departments and processes breaches for over 82 million policies.
