• Provided program and project management support to the Long Beach Unified School District with a focus on technology projects funded primarily through the District’s $1.2 billion Measure K Bond program. After assuming management of the $21 million Wireless Project, led a team of 2 vendors divided into 5 independent teams to complete the project 17 days ahead of schedule and more than $1 million under budget with no change orders.• Provided leadership to the Facilities Technology Group (FTG) and participated in growing this team to 12 highly talented individuals. Participated in assigning and coordinating the FTG team’s work efforts and managed scheduling for all FTG projects including reporting to senior management.• Managed the Security Cameras Project comprised of installing security cameras at 14 high school sites and 1 middle school site and managed the Wireless Phase IV Project that revisited 40 of the District’s schools to enhance the wireless system for Physical Education attendance and Nutrition Services point of sale applications.• Provided technology and planning support to the Facilities Department for all new school construction and modernization projects.

• Provided technical and engineering support to project managers and construction managers on the Central Los Angeles New Learning Center #1 Project, Phase I, a 90 million dollar flagship project in the Los Angeles Unified School District’s New Facilities building program.• Provided initial review of submittals for overall conformance to plans and specifications.• Confirmed accurate submission and tracking of points for CHPS Project Scorecard. CHPS is the Collaborative for High Performing Schools that help make schools energy, water and material efficient, well-lit, thermally comfortable, acoustically sound, safe, healthy and easy to operate.• Conducted FF&E salvaging operations, coordinated disposition of bungalows and final Real Estate transactions.• Supported documentation process for state and local funding applications.• Managed support staff in the production and processing of change orders, payment requests, Estimate at Completion reports, Strategic Execution Plan validation, P3 program schedule, weekly briefing to regional director, etc.
