Bill has an extensive track record as a CEO advisor and innovation facilitator. He founded Pine & Co. in 1994 and co-founded Boatschool Partners in 2011 and TRWB in 2014. He is primarily involved in business transformation and new business development. His success has been a result of Bill’s broad experience and contact base and unusual ability to see patterns sooner than others. Specific activities include a broad range of CEO-support activities, operations analysis (with a strong strategic component), innovation management, business and strategic planning, business systems development, new business startups, supplier marketing support for automotive parts/equipment/services, commercial vehicle operations, electric vehicles, alternative energy initiatives, minority business support, training, acquisition due diligence and unique insights in value chain analysis. Bill typically works for the owners or CEOs of small to medium-sized organizations and large division heads of large to very large organizations. As a GM executive, he typically dealt with forward programs. He was one of the first executives of the SATURN Corporation, where he co-authored its no-haggle pricing. He was also involved with the early stages of the GM EV-1 program. Prior to GM, he fulfilled his military obligation by serving as a Supply Corps Officer in the U. S. Navy’s Nuclear Propulsion Program at its Washington headquarters. Bill earned his undergraduate degree from the U. S. Naval Academy and his MBA from the George Washington University, both awarded summa cum laude. He also completed the U. S. Navy’s Supply Corps School with highest distinction.
