Responsibilities-Provided patrol and convoy overwatch through RQ-7B Shadow and RQ-2 Pioneer unmanned aerial systems, as well as IED interdiction with electro-optical and infrared sensors.-Lead, scheduled and operated with civilian and military analysts as intelligence detachment lead at Camp Leatherneck, Afghanistan.-Utilized unmanned aerial systems to locate and destroy enemy troops in contact with indirect fire and close air support.-Communicated through radio and internet relay chat with supported units, providing constant, instantaneous enemy updates to provide advantage to friendly forces.-Constructed Grid Reference Graphics for precise target engagement in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, which allowed rapid targeting and directly resulted in interdiction of an enemy platoon that was attacking a friendly supply convoy. -Located enemy forces emplacing improvised explosive devices along patrol routes and passed information to explosive ordnance disposal teams and armed aerial assets.-Conducted Pattern of Life analysis to differentiate enemy from civilian traffic, allowing coalition forces to hone in on military targets while avoiding civilian casualties. -Identified structures for targeting and and link analysis.-Distinguished enemy personnel from civilian on live FMV by searching for weapon profiles and muzzle flashes.-Visually tracked disengaging enemies to their hiding places to allow further prosecution or capture.

Responsibilities-Attended USMC Intelligence Specialist course at Dam Neck, VA, graduating with honors.-Upon graduation, immediately attached as a solitary analyst to Military Police Company and deployed to ar Ramadi, Iraq.-Conducted all-source analysis in support of convoy security and route clearance.-Became subject matter expert on improvised explosive device placement, tactics and counter-tactics.-Provided daily intelligence briefs and debriefs to three platoons, resulting in a seven month deployment with zero IED strikes.-Attended counter-IED training course, using knowledge gained to train military police company in spotting and avoiding hidden IEDs with and without thermal optics.-Conducted and disseminated all-source intelligence analysis on conventional and unconventional forces.-Acted as intelligence liaison to adjacent military commands and higher headquarters, facilitating intelligence sharing throughout Marine forces in Iraq.-Managed 5 local national Arabic to English interpreters and their clearances for 7 months during Operation Iraqi Freedom.

During this time I was a member of Co B(-), 4th Assault Amphibian Battalion. I deployed in 2003 in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, assaulting from Kuwait to Baghdad. In 2007 I transferred to Active Duty and became an Intelligence Specialist (0231).
