Nine years ago, I sent an email to a startup company about their logo. After some funny back-and-forth banter, Co-Founder Adam Metcalf offered me a job and I've been with ZeeMee ever since!In the near decade I've been here I have been responsible for end-user customer success for our partners, counselors, and students, growing our partner base from three to over two-hundred fifty and taking a Series A startup to profitability. Weekly meetings with college partners, onboarding/product implementation and engaging personally in over ten thousand support tickets are just part of what I’ve done. Now, I serve our partners directly, drive retention and support cross-functional sales, product and engineering teams.I love my job; and whether I'm serving as a conduit between sales and product, tracking and communicating bug issues, or sitting down face-to-face with partners to help them realize their goals, it's the relationships that make it all possible.

Back then, I prided myself on ZeeMee boasting an average response time of under 1-minute on Intercom, personally answering ~10,000+ support tickets during that period and really focusing in on student user feedback, pain points & successes. I learned a lot about what I was capable of in this role, testing my own limits, learning a lot about the industry and soaking up anything anyone would teach me. Having my finger on the pulse of our users, I was able to develop important relationships with - and learn from - our product, engineering, design and data teams.This was a great time of learning for me and for ZeeMee, being the scrappy startup it was back then, it was a perfect fit for me and my future career!
