Bill Prentice is the Chairman and CEO of Meridian Energy Group, Inc. - the leading clean-tech oil refining firm and the only ESG pure-play in the industry. Meridian's energy transition facilities will have one-eighth the air emissions of typical US refineries and less than one-half of the greenhouse gas emissions - replacing one-half of US refining capacity with Meridian facilities would reduce the carbon footprint of US refining by 90 million tons per year! The first Meridian facility is the Davis Refinery, a 49,500 bpd high-conversion clean-tech plant being built in North Dakota. Meridian is planning additional facilities in the Permian Basin and Cushing, OK. Mr. Prentice began his career as an engineer for Fluor Corporation, where he participated in major refinery, petrochemicals and other energy projects worldwide. Mr. Prentice has served in management positions at several firms including Askew, Kabala & Co., Competisys Corporation, Mesquite Lake LLC, Western Power Group, Inc. and Ultrasystems, Inc., where he either headed up major divisions of firms designing, building, owning and/or operating major energy facilities or where he was the founder and CEO of such firms. Mr. Prentice holds a Master’s Degree from UC Irvine, Graduate School of Management, and two B.S. Degrees in engineering from Arizona State University.
