Bill Proffit is the CEO and owner of Green Proffitt Financial Group, Inc. He is a native of Jacksonville, Florida, who graduated from Fletcher High School located in Neptune Beach, Florida and attended the University of Florida. He began his career in 1971 with Professional Insurance Corporation and was awarded for his excellence and promoted after only 6 months to district manager of Florida and Georgia. In 1973, he became the Regional Manager and Trainer of 11 states for Globe Life Accident, and, in 1975, he became the state manager and developer for the state of Virginia. In 1984, he came back to Jacksonville and started William Proffitt and Associates, Corporation. In 2010, Bill semi-retired, but he came out of retirement in 2012. He formed the Green Proffitt Financial Group with Joe Green in 2013.Throughout his 43 years of experience, he has handled over 100 million dollars worth of client assets and specializes in retirement estate planning. He is a proud father of 4 successful children and enjoys spending time with his 7 grandchildren and his dog, Kelly.
