I'm involved in every aspect of boat building, boat repair and boat maintenance and also skilled in fibre glassing, painting and carpentry with vast experience. I also have vast experience of craning, chocking and strutting boats and also general boatyard maintenance. I have been involved in the new build of boats but mainly undertake in repair work such as timber work, fitting out and glass fibre/gel repairs. I'm also trained with WEST system epoxy and similar products and have been involved in osmosis treatments on hulls using WEST system. As well as yachts and motor cruisers I have also worked several times on RFA ships repairing internal dry docks.

I have recently become a fully qualified boat builder.

This was a Friday and Saturday night job used as an extra income. I served drinks, made cocktail and dealt with monetary exchanges along with taking stock and general bar maintenance.

I dealt with monetary exchanges, customer relations and stock taking. I started as part time for seasonal work and got employed full-time after a few months.
