Develop and write IEP for students with disabilities plans for effective communication, monitoring, and follow-up of students in inclusive classroom settings. Provide crisis intervention, as needed, for students and those in inclusive class. Assist in collection of data for providing appropriate classroom interventions. Serve on as a member a multidisciplinary team as appropriate. Collaborative teachers support, observe and record the progress of their class. Collaborative teachers also plan lessons in line with national objectives, with the aim of ensuring a healthy culture of learning. A secondary school teacher must keep up to date with developments in their subject area, new resources, methods and national objectives. The role involves liaising and networking with other professionals, parents, both informally and formally. Preparing and delivering lessons to a range of classes of different ages and abilities; marking work, giving appropriate feedback and maintaining records of pupils' progress and development; researching new topic areas, maintaining up-to-date subject knowledge, and devising and writing new curriculum materials; selecting and using a range of different learning resources and equipment, including podcasts and interactive whiteboards; preparing pupils for qualifications and external examinations; managing pupils in the classroom and on school premises, and applying appropriate and effective measures in cases of undertaking pastoral duties, such as taking on the role of form tutor, and supporting pupils on an individual basis through academic or personal difficulties; communicating with parents and careers over pupils' progress and participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings and whole school training events.

The school board can be considered the governing body of a school district. They are the only elected officials within an individual school district that have a say in the daily operations of that school district. The school board has authority over the business and management of a school district.

The Upward Bound is a federally funded program that serves high school students in grades 9-12. The Program serves 65 students annually from 9 area high school. The program is designed to generate skills and motivation necessary in secondary school that will ensure student's success in education beyond high school. Counsel and develop Curriculum during the Academic Year Program, Coordinate classes which meeting several Saturdays during the school year with student following a schedule based on their current high school courses. Coordinate activities includes college visits, guest speakers, special presentations, and cultural trips. During the Summer Program, Coordinate a six week program during June and July where the students live and work in a college environment where they are exposed to an intensive Curriculum of study with activities.

The Residence Counselor has direct contact with the students, and counsel students on behavior in the dorms, counsel individuals on meeting their personal care, nutritional needs,behavioral interventions, document consumer progress. responsible for planning, implementing, and assessing programming opportunities for students during the afternoon and evening hours. Additionally, residential faculty are responsible for maintaining accurate record keeping, provide support and redirection, and engage actively in all aspects of the residential setting. Counselors bring their passion for the outdoors, the arts, and other activities to their positions and share that enthusiasm with the students we work with. Provide engaging, life-relevant programming for students, Maintain supervision of students at all times. Successfully complete treatment-related documentation in a timely manner. Act as a mentor for students in care, including role modeling appropriate behavior, redirection and crisis management

Maintain a clean and orderly environment for students. Assist students with assignments, maintain students records, and record students progress, counsel students on behavior. Plan and coordinate all aspects of the ISS program. Communicate with teacher, students, parents, administrators, and other contact people using tact and good judgement.
