Current• Teach/tutor students in all general educational subjects from grades K-8• Teach SAT/ACT reading, writing, language, and college admissions/essay preparation at the highschool level• Provide additional instruction in AP Biology, AP Chemistry, AP Earth Science, AP EnvironmentalScience, AP English Language and Literature, AP World History, AP US History, AP World Government,AP Statistics, AP Economics, and AP Research Seminar coursework• Design, implement, and refine personalized lesson plans tailored to each student’s academic needsand aspirations• Design and lead instructional summer seminars to aid students with SAT/ACT vocabulary preparation,SAT/ACT Reading, English, and Language/Essay comprehension, and high school science “bootcamp” (covering topics in biology, chemistry, ecology, earth/environmental science, and laboratoryscience)• Work with students to design and implement a high school “life plan” to balance academic andpersonal goals with college/future career requirements• Collaborate with students, parents, school teachers/instructors, and C2 management to assistremedial students and to provide academic enrichment opportunities for struggling K-12 students• Work with C2 staff and management to secure scholarship opportunities for students, and to involveC2 in communal outreach/volunteer work• Attend bi-annual center meetings to review student progress, make changes to C2 curricula, andexchange ideas regarding how to maintain and grow the business’s client base• Researching ways to develop virtual classroom instruction for professional development coursework(writing a resume/CV, conducting an interview, drafting/editing proposals etc.)• Recently proposed a “Recommend and Refer” program whereby C2 faculty provide their high schoolstudents with a college recommendation letter in exchange for a peer referral
