As the Systems Implementation Officer I look at how the introduction of new systems of work and modification of current systems can help improve the smooth running and productivity of the business. The overall aim of the role is to increase the proficiency of the business and sharpen the already positive image of the business to our current and potential customers, aswell as making the work we do easier and simpler for all involved.

The running of the bar and waiting on tables. My role is very fast paced and often non-stop as im taking food to 1 table im also lining up 3 or 4 other jobs to be done on the way back. Often I can serve upto 4 or 5 tables at once aswell as serving people at the bar and helping run wedding arrangements. My duties where to firstly give the best customer service possible to my customers aswell as maintain the food and bar areas by way of cleaning tables, stocking fridges with drinks, keeping change in the till and training new staff.

After my apprenitceship with Airco I got the opportunity to work this a Karate club that I trained with. The opportunity was to recruit new members into the club as well as training with the club. The role was fairly extensive, not only was I working in recruitement but also in marketing, management and HRM. This role may not have worked out for me in the long run but it was the catalyst to my want to learn business management at university level so that in the future I can work at a higher management level.

When i was working at Airco Refrigeration I was training as an Apprentice Refrigeration and Air-conditioning engineer. I completed my NVQ 2 with the company, which I recieved 2 'top 10' apprentice of the year awards, then I decided to follow a different career path.
