- Direct and monitor the corporate responsibility and privacy program for multi-state medical group with 1,600+ providers, reporting to the Chief Compliance Officer and Board of Directors.- Assists in the implementation of system-wide policies and procedures, develops and conducts educational programs and administers reviews related to the HIPAA Privacy Program.- Oversees all ongoing activities related to the development, implementation, maintenance of and adherence to policies and procedures covering the privacy of, and access to Protected Health Information (PHI) in compliance with federal and state laws.- Responsible for the due diligence on compliance-related issues and determines the appropriate corrective action, to include the identification of operational gaps, process improvement needs, identification of educational opportunities and coordinating resolution.
