- Manage a variety of hull and machinery (H&M) and cargo liability claims ranging in value from USD 1K-74M involving collisions, salvage, grounding, fire and capsizing of merchant vessels- Manage a team of claims adjusters in the Liability Department who handle claims involving motor truck cargo, warehouse legal liability, freight forwarder legal liability, error & omission, personal injury, property, and environmental damage claims on behalf of domestic and overseas Underwriters and Brokers- Establish relationships to develop new business for the H&M and Liability Departments- Represent and advise insurance carriers in settlement mediations- Negotiate with foreign & domestic lawyers directly
