The department oversees and managers all heating plants, mechanical RTU/HRU systems, energy consumption, emergency power, elevators/chair lifts, electrical, switch gear, natural gas distribution, security, life safety, snow removal, landscaping and the maintenance of a synthetic/natural turf playing fields. The department is also responsible for the oversight of maintenance/custodial operations utilizing 40 in-house unionized employees and many specialized trade subcontractors and vendors. -
