Have recently retired from the Town of Milton after serving 23 years as the Town Consolidated Facilities Director. Seeking part-time consulting work on an as-needed basis as Facilities Consultant, Construction Advisor, and or Facilities Mentor to new members in the facilities management field. I have an abundance of experience to offer and a unique skill set with over 35 years in the industry.

The Department of Consolidated Facilities is responsible for the management and oversight of 24 Town Facilities with close to 1 million SF space situated on 100 acres of land. Consolidated Facilities is involved, coordinates, and oversees most building construction, modernization, all in-house maintenance/repair, preventative maintenance and cleaning as well as all Town subcontracted commercial cleaning operations. The department oversees and managers all heating plants, mechanical RTU/HRU systems, energy consumption, emergency power, elevators/chair lifts, electrical, switch gear, natural gas distribution, security, life safety, snow removal, landscaping and the maintenance of a synthetic/natural turf playing fields. The department is also responsible for the oversight of maintenance/custodial operations utilizing 40 in-house unionized employees and many specialized trade subcontractors and vendors.

The Facilities Department was responsible for the management and oversight of 6 School Facilities with close to 700,000 SF space situated on 80 acres of land. The department was involved, coordinated, and oversaw all building construction, modernization, all in-house maintenance/repair, preventative maintenance and in-house cleaning operations. The Facilities Department was extensively involved in the design, construction, building/remodeling of 6 school buildings costing $150 million over a seven year span. The department was responsible for the direct oversight of 27 unionized employees and specialized subcontracted trades.

As Facilities Administrator/Director for this wonderful organization, was responsible for the direct oversight of all facility operations, new construction, renovations, engineering, capital planning and future space/land development. Was responsible for the oversight of all in-house skilled/licensed craftsman, cleaning operations, all maintenance, subcontracted vendors, life safety and security operations for all campus buildings. All secondary facilities were offsite which included a day school, retail space, storage facilities and residential group homes that were located in six surrounding towns.

Owner of a small residential and commercial construction company located on the South Shore specializing in general construction, custom design, historical repair/remodeling, custom kitchens, custom stairs and build-outs and craftsman style finish work. Performed commercial and residential home inspections, cost estimates, selective project management and environmental assessments to abate asbestos, mold and lead paint.
