Engineering Supervisor
CurrentMy career at Senior started as a design engineer, and I have worked my way into the Supervisor role I have currently. In my Design Engineering role I developed Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) coolers for heavy duty diesel engines (9-15L). I helped lunch 2 different EGR coolers before I was promoted into the company's R&D team. In the R&D team I helped develop Senior's next generation EGR cooler, along with new manufacturing techniques to produce it. During this work I had the opportunity to work with an additive manufacturing company, which allowed me to gain knowledge into that exciting new industry. As well as product developed the R&D team was responsible for analysis and test development. I developed an new analysis technique to predict EGR field return rates, which was published as SAE paper 2019-01-0915 "EGR Cooler Field Return Rate Evaluation Based on Product and Application Variation" I also had the honor of presenting the paper at the 2019 WCW in Detroit Mi. I am now enjoying my transition into the Supervisor role, as I move away from doing and into leading those that do.
