A conscientious and professional Security / Loss Prevention Supervisor with extensive experience in all aspects of security/ loss prevention, logistics and security management roles. A highly organised and efficient individual, whose thorough and precise approach to projects has yielded excellent results. Recent achievements include assisting to manage a Logistics Team with my previous employer which included the implementation of new procedures and innovative team working. Management of receiving and distribution of External/Internal mail to/from busy distribution centre on a daily basis. Supervision of product picking via line or store picks to ensure the right product, arrives at the right store, at the right time.I have 27 years in the Security Industry, the majority of which in a Supervisory/Junior Managerial capacity, where I was responsible, over two vocations, for the Administration, discipline, management, rostering, training and motivation of two large teams of Security personnel.Prior to relocating back to Scotland, I worked for seven years as a Senior Security Supervisor, contracted to the London International Financial Futures and Options Exchange (LIFFE). This demanding position required me to manage the initial site training, ongoing monthly training, rostering, motivation and discipline, or a team of 74 Security staff, spread over five different locations within the City of London. During this time, I was awarded for my bravery, for my actions during a May Day protest in 1998, when several hundred protestors stormed our main building.I am fully conversant with all forms of Mircosoft Windows. I am also fully conversant with BMS/Access Control Systems such as Cardax and Janus.
