I have spent a few years doing various jobs to try and obtain skills that would further my career whilst making me a more ideal candidate for the positions I apply for.My most recent/current position has been sealing and assembling accent canopies with ARB. I have learned a great deal when it comes to attention to detail and time management with my work, however the lack of growth opportunities and lack of new skills to learn means that I am ready to move on to a new line of work. I will be forever grateful for the skills and lessons that have been provided.The previous job to my current position was as a trades assistant with the Door Guy. In this role, I was taught how to use a range of tools, electrical and pneumatic. Since working there I have continued to hone my skills and techniques while picking up a whole garage full of tools to use on my motorbike and now car.My first job was working at the local IGA in town, it was there that I was taught the value of good verbal communication and destination through non-physical means. I was only young when I first started but I believe that it helped cement those values for the rest of my professional life.
