Provide leadership, organization, coordination and oversight in support of the PMO key activities encompassing project and program management. Ensure all projects administered by the PMO adhere to the best practices and standard approaches for project management. Manage change and promote the continuous improvement of project management related processes. Guide project stakeholders in defining project scope and ensure the effective utilization of resources. Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget. Oversee program managers and program teams regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Coordinate and monitor the scheduling and technical performance of company programs. Responsibilities also include aiding in the negotiation of contracts, contractual changes and coordinating preparations of proposals, plans, specifications, and financial conditions of contracts. Ensure adherence to master plans and schedules, develop solutions to program problems, and direct work of incumbents assigned to programs from various departments.

Supervises supply chain operations, including sourcing, planning, manufacturing, logistics, as well as supplier management and selection. Makes recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. Coordinates and resolves issues regarding new and existing products and processes. Interacts with customers to ensure that all requirements are met.Assists departments in relation to supply chain processes which include the planning of procurement, production, inventory control, logistics and distribution. Ensures that every step of the process is functioning effectively to avoid costly delays. Communicates objectives to line managers and key personnel in procurement, production/manufacturing, logistics and distribution. Manages the relationships between many different vendors and information technology systems to keep the material and/or services flowing smoothly, taking responsibility for the logistics of returns as well. Trains, develops, mentors and assists subordinates in all departments that fall within the supply chain process. Continually evaluates the supply chain in order to identify potential improvement opportunities and ensure efficient use of resources and materials.
