During my time at Haar’s Nursery, I worked into a fast paced environment and adapted to new and diverse skills. My role included bringing products from production to dispatch, restocking shelves, working in dispatch and making sure each product is labelled correctly and is at a high standard to sell, running the dispatch area which included a high level of communication when working with team members and made sure the team were working on the correct plants to be brought up to dispatch.

My tasks include organising and filling paperwork, handling sensitive and confidential documents and assisting the accountant with day to day tasks. As a Labourer, my tasks included general construction and landscaping tasks such as fixing fences, building veggie patches and putting in posts. As I already had a general understanding of construction and building through my education, performing in a construction industry was great experience as I got to bring theory and workshop building to life.
