I am a recent Master of International Public Affairs graduate from UW-Madison's La Follette School of Public Affairs currently working as a Consultant with Guidehouse. I am originally from Mount Zion, Illinois, located outside of Decatur, Illinois, a Rust Belt town that is home to a large agricultural processing and manufacturing industry.I am passionate about learning about the traditions, cultures, histories, and languages of nations around the world, especially their art, food, and music. My current professional interests include international and domestic trade, compliance review, risk analysis, technical writing, and management consulting. My professional interests include international trade, education, the arts and media, agriculture, and intellectual property law. I have an interest in and experience quantitative data analysis and visualization using Excel, R, and Stata. I also enjoy conducting literature reviews, compiling qualitative data, and doing independent research. I have experience with compliance review and technical writing thanks to my positions at Grant Thornton Public Sector and Guidehouse. I am always looking for a new opportunity or challenge.
