For Dow's R&D IT Department:Directed 5 departments with globally dispersed resources: Architecture, Program Office, Infrastructure, Data & Image Analytics and Data Management.Created the R&D IT enterprise vision and technology strategy. Led the development of multi-year roadmaps that outlined the plan and investment required to upgrade and sustain capabilities. This multi-million dollar plan created investment transparency and significantly improved stakeholder buy-in.Drove and gained buy-in for the enterprise implementation of an Electronic Lab Notebook. Directed the implementation program of 3500 users across the globe. This has significantly improved productivity and collaboration.Initiated and spearheaded a transformational digitization strategy for Dow R&D. This included a plan to transform Dow research workflows and data assets by implementing a comprehensive digitization platform. The Initial Implementation has resulted in the ability to connect disparate systems via an insight discovery and analytics portal. Finding complete lineage of research is now possible as well as topic discovery across systems. This significantly improves the ability to apply AI and analytics across the enterprise of information assets.Directed the overall program for R&D IT projects and services.Implemented yearly investment planning process and electronic program and project tracking system. Developed dashboards that outlined IT investment by business, showed how each business was using R&D IT services and resources. This created transparency and facilitated better alignment to business strategies.Managed yearly operational budgets. Planned and tracked department expenses and capital. Created dashboards to monitor progress. Achieved year over year cost savings while maintaining same or better service levels.Led the Integration Program for the Dow and DuPont merger.

Led the HTR informatics implementation after Dow signed a long term alliance agreement with Symyx. The program developed and integrated automated high throughput research tools into scientific workflows throughout the world. Led the transformation of the organization from an unfocused point solution provider to an agile organization able to deliver complex systems in an extremely dynamic environment. This included the Introduction of Agile methodologies. Led the transformation of Dows Robotics organization to adopt better engineering practices, helped transform the department to a reliable solutions provider.Successfully led the program to build out/expand the organization into India and China.

Plant Floor Systems:Led development of Ford's second generation vehicle diagnostic system. Drove the use of Rapid Application Development. Was Responsible for overall project management and planning, requirements gathering, design, development and supplier management. Led development of Ford's global vehicle testing system pilot in Genk, Belgium. Responsibilities included analyzing global needs and ensuring the system compatibility in 30 assembly plants worldwide. The system was eventually deployed in all assembly plants worldwide.Invented Automated Vehicle Diagnostic Test Generation system Nominated “Engineering Society of Detroit Outstanding Young Engineer of the Year" in 1996 by Ford Management for technical innovations and progressive leadership abilities.
