CCIC is primarily a transportation company doing business in all 50 states writing Business Auto, Trucking, GL, GAR, GKL, as well as various programs around the country. Accomplishments:• Premium increased from $37MM to $260MM.• Reduced loss ratio by 55% (147% to 92%) • Identified and corrected reserving issues.• Identified and resolved claim handling, expense, & morale issues. • Implemented catastrophic loss program. • Implemented empathy visits and early settlements.• Built, trained, and mentored staff from 22 to 60.

Senty Insurance purchased John Deere Insurance in late 1999.

Hired in Long Island, NY to locate site, hire staff, and setup Claims Operations/Office for a newly purchased $13MM book of commercial transportation business consisting of BI, NF, UM/UIM, PD, Physical Damage, GAR, GKL, Completed Operations, GL, and CL Property including Business Interruption. Book sold to Lancer Insurance after increasing to $30MM. Promoted and transferred to Milwaukee, WI and then to Jacksonville, FL. Responsible for claims handling in 20 States and runoff programs.

Stated with Travelers in Chicago, transferred to Cleveland, then Hartford and finally to Long Island, NY where I managed staff of 96 handling Auto BI-PD for PL/CL, Subrogation, Theft, SIU, and No Fault. Served as Travelers Claim Department liaison to New York State Insurance Department on regulations and complaints. Successfully led defense rebuttles of one NJ and two NY Market Conduct Examinations.Took an early retirement in 1992.
