•One of the lead QAQC Engineers for the civil works in Al Sofouh Transit System Project in which I am responsible in organizing QC inspectors and laboratory technicians for daily activities.•Coordinate with Construction Manager, Site Engineers and sub-contractors for daily activities then prepare, check and submit to consultant daily request for inspection of works and test.•Maintain inspection records for all utility/services, roadworks, piling works etc., and update daily on our monitoring table all the accomplishments. (The records contain the request numbers, description of works, length / chainage of works done. These detailed records provide the qc inspectors clear view of the site progress and enable them to work more efficient since searching for the information and status is quick and easy. The same records being used by our Quantity Surveyors for our monthly billing and claims.)•Monitoring laboratory and field tests, site sampling of materials and provide the site team a detailed information of test reports daily. •Advises on-site staff and implement on quality policies and procedures which are based on the approved ITP and method of statements.•Liaison with project team members to resolve any outstanding quality issues.•Ensures that all inspections are done as per Inspection and Test plan / contract and that these are documented on pre-defined formats / check sheets. •Ensures all valid documentation and drawings are being used on site.•Carries out regular surveillance inspections for activities on site and that of subcontractors.•Monitors non conformances and follows up with site team for close out and ensure corrective /preventive actions are taken to avoid repetitions of non-conformances.•Reports weekly quality performance and documentation and quality trends statistical data to Quality Manager.•To attend weekly meeting, preparation QA/QC report, reply consultant's correspondences, maintain strong communication with consultants.
