Production machining of Hydraulic cylinder parts on various NC machines using Fanuc controls.Assembly of complete hydraulic cylinders as per engineering drawings. Manual machining of parts to suite existing customer requirements.

• Carry out work according to required quality standards and specifications.• Capable of working to fine tolerances according to engineering drawings.• Be proficient in the operation of all workshop machinery. Day to day operating of:Lathes- Manual and CNC Milling machines- manual and CNC (Setup)Surface Grinders Radical Arm Drill PressPress Breaks (Cutting and Bending)• Have knowledge of multi-stage and progression type press tool manufacturing• Be responsible for all the equipment held or used to perform duties• Injection mould assembly and diagnosis of problem• Maintain equipment in serviceable manner• Liaise with the leading hand/ Senior Programmer to order tooling. • Assist with the training of the entry level machinists to operate all machinery.

• Maintaining of production by overseeing presses and calibration machines• Performing preventative maintenance• Make running adjustments to press tooling to deliver quality product in specifications• Perform press tool repairs• Report & Suggest improvements in production processes

• Operation of the following workshop machinery: Lathe Milling Machine Slotting Machine Horizontal Boremill Experience Light, Medium Duty with some Heavy Duty• Instructing and Training the Apprentices
