A two phase survey with the first phase consisting of a multibeam sonar mapping of the Croatian, Albanian, and Montenegrin seafloors. The data was then analyzed and target sites were identified according to parameters typical of ancient wrecks (primarily those containing amphora). The second phase transitioned into the use of an ROV to investigate the target sites. Primary project duties consisted of artifact retrieval, cleaning, photography, and documentation. Secondary duties consisted of ROV setup and deployment, field conservation of artifacts, and basic ship upkeep.
