I work with most all forms of wireless and wired communications. As a Senior State Planner, I am tasked with supplementing "Normal" communications like telephones and Internet - If and When - they are lost. This may be due to server weather, Hi winds, Ice, snow, floods other natural or man made disasters. I have a extensive back ground in Two-Way radio related to actual repairs and installation. I also have many years of management experience with radio and cell phone service centers, technicians and site management. I currently manage or support all wireless communications for the State of Minnesota Department of Health - OEP. This includes Satellite voice and data, 800MHz ARMER radio, VHF - UHF, the National Public Health Radio Network (NPHRN), and Chair the CACoP Radio Subgroup for the lower 48. I am a licensed Amateur Radio operator (HAM) WB0LZR and support the Amateur Radio Service and volunteers in out area.I am also a member of the Minnesota Mobile Medical Unit - Technical Operations Team and support its operation, maintenance, inventory and deployment.Specialties: Member of the Minnesota State Emergency Communications Board Interoperable subcommittee, Certified Motorola radio CPS programmer and XTS, XTL and APX radios.
