Loads and/or unloads material between dock and truck with hand truck where applicable. Moves materials between statuses and locations within the plants• Maintains all shipping requests and schedules all shipments and pick-ups• Verifies sufficient shipping supplies are available in order to meet all potential shipping needs• Prepares temperature sensitive shipments according to procedure minimizing time removed from controlled environment• Prepares declarations and ships dangerous goods in strict compliance with current IATA and DOT regulations• Assists in the development of alternate shipping methods• Contacts transportation companies for shipping quotes and to arrange shipments• Prepares required documentation for each shipment or delivery• Provides tracking information for shipments• Evaluates supplier quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers• Rates suppliers and distributors and provides feedback• When necessary, assist in delivering materials according to procedure by placing an added immediacy on temperature sensitive receipts. Delivers received shipments

Use various reports and computer programs to choose product. * Prepare boxes and place in slots for selection. * Proactively keep slots replenished before they are emptied. * Check quantities against stocking reports. * Identify and remedy insufficient and/or mis-slotted pr oduct. * Accurately record product moves to ensure correct product and accurate counts. * Inform Supervisor, team leader or trainer of any variances in stocking requirements.

Read selection labels to identify slot location, product description and quantity required for each order.Pull correct quantities of designated product (identified by selection labels) from the slot location and lift into a tote or box on a static conveyor line.Push tote along static conveyor line to next slot location until the tote is full or the order is complete.Pack product in the tote to ensure it is not damaged in any way during transportation Work independently and in a team environment.
