Regional Relief Teacher
CurrentThe Regional Relief Teacher provides the same services as the Assistant Language Teacher, but specifically as a substitute teacher covering Interac's contracts in the Hiroshima Branch. The relief teacher works covering long term absences by other teachers. The position requires great flexibility, organization, and ability to adapt to new schools on short notice. As an Interac teacher, promotes the company's priorities of "sharing [their] knowledge of English and communication skills and giving insights to other cultures". Working in the Hiroshima area, primary goals include leading English and cultural education within the community, becoming a cultural ambassador for foreign cultures, teaching Japanese students (1st-9th grade), facilitating English education in schools, attending English camps and activities, as well as planning lessons and activities.
