I am William, currently pursuing a Degree in Computer Science with a Minor in French Studies, at the National University of Singapore. I am interested in the cybersecurity industry in particular, due to the fascinating nature of the work and its profound impact on businesses and organizations across the globe. Outside of my course, I support fellow students interested in the French language and culture through the NUS French Hexagon Club, where I currently serve as the President.I graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a Diploma in Information Security & Forensics. As part of my Singtel Cyber Security Cadet Scholarship, I have completed my internship as a Cyber Business Analyst at Trustwave, a subsidiary of Singtel. I served National Service as an Officer within the Singapore Guards.In addition to cybersecurity, I have a keen interest in the business-oriented and client-facing sides of organizations. I build up skillsets in other areas to be a more well-rounded and versatile person. I particularly love learning languages to be able to connect on a deeper level with even more people, as I would love to work with people from around the world. I also give back to the community in my free time, volunteering for organizations like Youth Corps Singapore and Willing Hearts Singapore.
