About William Seabrook

Strong experience in leading teams by providing support and challenge over the past 5 years. Thrives on creating a positive team with an environment that is both relaxed and geared to achieve goals. I have led a variety of people including providing coaching for a number of staff. Previous experience of working as a sports coach in a professional football clubs community department. After this I was the school sports coordinator at Sport 4 Life where I ran sports coaching within schools managing an assistant, a full time sports coach and volunteers during this period. When the funding for school sports ended at Sport 4 Life I decided I wanted to carry on working in schools and worked at Ladypool Primary School as an unqualified teacher. Whilst originally hired for PE teaching, it was here I realised a career in teaching was for me and started gaining experience working within a variety of year groups as both a TA and as cover teacher.I then began my career at Greet where I worked as a trainee then took up a full time position as a teacher. I worked 1.5 years as a regular teacher in year 1 and then became the interim and eventually full time Year Group Leader. I have worked 1.5 years as the leader of Year 1 and currently working as the leader of Year 3.
