Project Manage 2 school sports projects in Alum Rock and Balsall Heath

Manage the Balsall heath and Alum Rock Projects.- Secured £5,000 worth of extra funding for the project.- Set up the ‘Alum Rock Get's Active project' by recruiting schools, liaising with funders, delivering the project, monitoring targets and writing final report. Set up, organised, recruited participants, promoted and delivered two evening community sessions and two holiday camps on the Alum Rock Estate for over 70 children.- Line Manager to a project coordinator within the organisation working on a school sport project, two volunteers on the Alum Rock Gets Active project and one on the Balsall Heath project.- Interviewed and selected my former coaching assistant. Line managed him which included mentoring, setting targets and goals for his development, organising all of his training, giving advice and monitoring his progression for the entirety of his 6 month contract.- Receiving and completing invoices for training organised for my former assistant.- Set up, organised and ran seven Multi Sports Activity camps for 140 children for the Balsall Heath Project, which have all received much positive feedback.- Managed a team of 6 volunteers for the activity camps assessing their skills and utilising them in my sessions to benefit themselves and the children.- Organise all paperwork, registers, collected data and report writing for both school projects.- Set up a partnership with the Warwickshire LTA.- Set up and organised an interschool tournament involving 20 children.Monitoring and Evaluation Officer. (Began position alongside Coordinator role in April, 2011)- Administering all paperwork for four social inclusion projects and four Mars Just Play projects. Updating and amending Consent form data base. Revising and changing monitoring and evaluation process for Sport 4 Life. Updating and improving use of social media sites regarding the project. Providing data, evidence and case studies for reports and report writing.

Involved coaching in a number of different venues. - Jointly ran a free Social Inclusion project for up to 40 children.- Involved with the Kickz Social inclusion project for 12 months, assisting at two different projects for over 50 children and working under the Kickz Project Coordinator.- Ran the Birmingham City football camps in 2009/2010 seasons involving over 40 children, being in charge of the holiday camp and ensuring its smooth running. - Managed and administered a Skill centre project for over 30 children. I dealt with all money coming into the project, sorted all paperwork including registers, consent forms and liaised with parents.

Sole responsibility for groups of 12 plus children aged 7 to 14 for a multi sports activity camp.

Planned Gap Year working as a sporting assistant and boarding house personal tutor within Australia’s largest co-educational boarding school.- Assisted with PE lessons and often took sports classes on my own with 20 pupils in a class, aged 6- 16.- Under 14’s football team head coach, the most successful football team in the school.- 3rd XI cricket team coach.
