I am a student at Fordham University Gabelli School of Business in the Bronx, NY. I chose Fordham because of the stellar business school and the perfect location. For the past two summers, I have interned at Northwestern Mutual Park Ave. This has allowed me to get a good understanding of the business world. During my time interning, the office was moving locations, and because of this, I was tasked with helping convert all the paper files to digital copies to help with a seamless transition into the new space. During this, I feel that I began to understand the business world through the thousands of documents I had to sift through, as well as all the people I interacted with along the way. This past summer, I had a more hands-on experience with the internship. I was the person people could come to if they needed help with something. Doing this throughout the summer, I learned a lot of exciting things about the business world as a whole. I was also able to see and experience what went into running a successful company.
