Application Engineer
CurrentI have been happily working in the controls business for more than 21 years and still to this day am thankful for them giving me the opportunity to prove myself and skills. For me personally it has been fulfilling journey as my time here does a wonderful job of feeding my appetite to be technically challenged.I entered this field with a very strong mechanical background and education and was hungry for more technology. Today I still hang on to them strong mechanical skills and over the years have obtained very solid skills in building automation, controller software and programming, IT Networking, HVAC and electrical systems. I like to be approachable and very much enjoy being one of the main go to sources for employees and customers in all different areas of the business for consulting and problem solving.My current job title is Application Engineer which is the highest of all technical positions. Over the years I have been privileged to work in various area the business has to offer which include field technician, software designer, software manager and also starting a new department as a service center coordinator where we specialize in customer remote preventive and reactive services. There is additional experience that came with my time here which includes project management and sales and many other soft skills that comes with being a manager and part of the company’s leadership team.Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and step-daughter (recently married) and traveling with them. I also like to spend time golfing and dabbling with my homebrewing hobby.
