Much like my work in the S&C department, this involved the development of fundamental skills critical to sports performance, working with individuals, small and large groups and an ability to link their development in the gym onto the court or field.Education/Presenting - I was fortunate enough to be able to talk to students across all year levels in presentations on the importance of sleep, focusing on education about sleep duration, hygiene, habits and misconceptions as well as nutrition and the role it plays in performance, recovery and wellbeing.

    Geelong Falcons U/18 - Girls Jan 2020 - Apr 2020

Responsible for the preparation of the girls pre-training and games, as well as their on and off field conditioning and strength.Conducted strength sessions with up to 40 girls at a time in a small space calling for high levels of organisation and concise coaching to ensure sessions ran smoothly. Introduced a Foot and Ankle Protocol for the girls to complete prior to every session which progressed throughout the season (unfortunately cut short due to COVID).On field I ran conditioning catered to the demands of the girls style of game. Due to the often smaller fields they play on in comparison to the boys, it was important for them to focus on repeat speed work to repeatedly get to consecutive contests. This is something I worked closely with the coach on to ensure their physical capabilities matched the style of play he wanted the team to play with.
