Since I was young, I have long been obsessed with the human smile. Something about seeing the “before and after” shots at my Orthodontist’s office growing up always made me happy. Perhaps this was due to my 16 surgeries as a child due to a bilateral cleft lip and palate. However, this passion for understanding the human smile goes a lot further than just a passive interest. It ultimately became part of my long-term career plans within the hospitality and tourism industry, which is centric around making people happy. Whether in my early days ringing up guests on a cash register working in fast food, volunteering to provide the best week ever for kids with medical conditions at a summer camp, or operating a roller coaster that goes 76 miles per hour for thousands of visitors a day, these experiences have all shown me the true value of hospitality on the lives of individuals- making connections, enabling good moments, and maintaining strong relationships. In the future, I seek to further my passion for hospitality and guest service in order to continue to help others create valuable memories that last a lifetime.
