    Benton Foundry is an intermediate volume green sand foundry that produces Ductile and Gray Iron castings in a size range from 1 to 250 pounds. The base iron is melted in coreless induction furnaces. Cores and molds are made using automated mold machines. Both core and non-core casting are made.

    The Eureka Standing Stone Facility treats and disposes of wastewater from natural gas exploration and production companies. Treatment is separated into three main unit process types: pretreatment, crystallization, and de-wasting (membrane biological reactors, ion exchange, and reverse osmosis). Pretreatment includes removal of solids and heavy metals and pH adjustment. The pretreated water is used to feed the crystallization process, which employs thermal separation to separate salt from the pretreated water, while generating distilled water and concentrated mixed brine purge. The salt and brine purge are marketable products, and the distilled water is treated in the dewasting process prior to direct discharge under a National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit. It is the only process of its kind in the US.
