William Sinclair is the Head of the Financial Institutions Group and the U.S. Family Office Practice at J.P. Morgan Private Bank. In these senior leadership positions, William serves some of the firm's most sophisticated clients, family offices and institutions. He plays an influential role in the strategic direction of the Private Bank, and also serves on the U.S. Private Bank Operating Committee.William brings a client-first mentality in leading a team of more than 200 professionals who advise hedge fund founders, asset managers, entrepreneurs and family offices across the U.S. on all aspects of holistic wealth management. He and his team oversee more than $110 billion in assets, offering the strength of their deep, collective knowledge to advise clients on public and private investments, fixed income management, credit and liquidity needs, and complex estate and charitable planning.William joined J.P. Morgan in 2007 and spent a decade as a Senior Private Banker covering business leaders, hedge fund managers and the top J.P. Morgan Chase executives on their personal wealth management needs. He continues to advise a number of family offices and is often tapped for his deep understanding of the complex needs and balance sheets of ultra-high-net-worth clients and foundations.He received a B.A. from Wake Forest University and an M.B.A. from Columbia Business School. He holds FINRA Series 7, 9, 10, 63 and 65 securities licenses and the New York State Insurance license.William serves on the Wake Forest Business School Board of Visitors and is the Co-Chair of the Wake Forest University Capital Campaign in New York. He is a graduate of Brunswick School and sits on the board of the Alumni Association. He is also a member of the Estate Planning Council of Lower Fairfield County and serves on the Advisory Council for the Breast Cancer Alliance.
