My main responsibilities are to: Provide a professional electrical and instrument engineering service to the Vulcan Naval Reactor Test Establishment. Manage defect repair, through life inspection, commissioning and plant improvement modifications to equipment on the pressurised water reactor power plant and its support facilities. Deliver plant outage.

• Based in the Aberdeen office and employed on the Shell Mossmorran and Braefoot Bay Gas Processing sites Major Rejuvenation Project.Examples of responsibilities:
• Monthly project cost and progress reporting to Client – Shell UK
• Monitoring and Control of project cost, productivity and progress
• Ensuring financial approval is gained for tasks within Rejuvenation Project
• Review of project Engineering and Construction programme to allow base lining to be achieved
• Control and Delivery of major elements of high value projects for 5 year plan under Main Rejuvenation Project

• Project Manager fully accountable and personally responsible for safe delivery of a large and varied selection of projects to approved design, the necessary standards and to agreed programme and sanctioned cost using.
• Planning, definition, implementation & control of projects and budgets
• Production of project strategy, tender packages, financial sanctions and safety documentation
• Review and approval of UKAEA and subcontractor design to ensure compliance with UKAEA and external legislative requirements
• Management of in-house and contract resources to implement projects, including stakeholder communications and buy in, contract legal requirements and management soft skills
• Project handover, closeout and review ensuring that the deliverables and rewards have been accomplished and lessons learned recorded and communicated
