Will Slack Architecture + Design is a young dynamic design-led architecture practice specialising in contemporary domestic architecture.

Project managed and designed a 270m2 contemporary new-build dwelling in York for a private client.

Will joined the jmarchitects team in October 2015 following his graduation from Newcastle University with a distinction in Master of Architecture. With a strong background in residential and a broad experience of a project’s lifecycle from design to construction, Will has applied his skills successfully to the education sector. His particular strengths lie in intelligent 3D modelling and he has proved very capable in picking up the forward thinking BIM skills needed in today’s construction projects. With over 50 years of experience they promote innovative high quality design across virtually every aspect of architecture and interior design.- Key Role in a major private dwelling, responsible for external works- Measured Surveys, existing drawings, technical design and specification.- Office management and responsible for all drawing issue and correspondence.

- Architectural Assistant, 2 day a week voluntarily. - Responsibilities include preparation of existing and proposed drawings, planning applications and site surveys, Design and Access statements and also Building Regulation Drawings.

Designer of factory floor layouts for the production of extruded yarn. Task includes laying out textile machinery and space provision for an efficient process flow of production.
