As an architect and a designer I have experience across a broad range of project types and sizes. These include small, highly-detailed residential and entertainment projects as well as large-scale educational, institutional, retail and corporate projects.As an urbanist I have been very involved with the redevelopment communities and activities in Over-the-Rhine and Downtown Cincinnati. I chose Over-the-Rhine as the location to complete my thesis in architecture at DAAP. From 1999 to 2002 I was very involved with the City of Cincinnati's Over-the-Rhine Comprehensive Plan, and I was on the three person design team which worked alongside the University of Cincinnati's Neihoff Studio to design numerous focus areas within the neighborhood. These areas included the original proposal for increasing the size of Washington Park and providing underground parking to support Music Hall, the park and the neighborhood. This also included planning for Streetcar service through OTR and redesigning Liberty Street to mitigate the presence of an automobile thoroughfare through an otherwise predominantly residential neighborhood.
