Regarding drug testing, it is essential that the SACO accomplishes the following: (a) Ensures screening of all Marines annually, regardless of rank, for the presence of drugs. Additionally, unit commanders will direct the SACO to test at least ten percent of their population monthly. Ensures urinalysis samples are properly prepared and shipped for testing. Most common discrepancies include missing chain-of-custody documents and incorrect test premise codes. (b) Views drug testing results in the Internet Forensic Toxicology Drug Testing Laboratory (IFTDTL) portal after every test; (c) Prints testing outcome and notifies the commander of the results; (d) Prepares the drug testing determination memo for the commander; and (e) Coordinates with medical to accomplish the Medical Officer's (MO) review of all drug positives, andcoordinates and provides all pertinent drug use information to the commander for further submission to the Drug Demand Reduction Coordinator (DDRC) or SACC.
