I started my career in education in 2007 with a teaching position in Savannah, Ga. After relocating to SWFL, I joined the ranks of charter school teachers with 4 years with Charter Schools USA. There I developed a passion for leading teachers and began my Masters of Educational Leadership with the University of New England. It was during this time that I needed to experience public education and began 3 years of teaching in Immokalee Florida, in a Title 1 school. After graduating with my masters, I started my leadership career with FORZA Education Management as an Assistant Principal at Gulf Coast Charter Academy South, quickly transitioning to Principal after a year and a half. I have been with FORZA and GCCAS for the last 7 years and was recently promoted to Chief Operating Officer after serving 2 years as its Regional Vice President. It is in this role that I will truly be enabled to provide leadership to 4 schools leadership and impacting more children through our the west coast of Florida.
