As the systems engineer onsite the role serves as the primary IT point of contact for the corporate office in Charleston and provides IT support for 26 of Alpha’s remote sites. Duties include:• Set up and implementation of automated licensing and software upgrades for onsite engineers, geologists and staff• Partner with hardware and software vendor representatives to enforce Service Level Agreements and Maintenance contracts• Designed and delivered a customized operating system image server that supports 60 workstations• Increase efficiency by integrating legacy systems with new application systems and training users on how to leverage their available software tools on the job.
