I started my journey into data with Kubrick. Their intense 16-week training programme in Data Engineering helped me develop a range of skills including:- Python- SQL- Machine Learning- Tableau and analytics- Presentational workOnce I completed the training programme, I began working with one of Kubrick's clients. During these two years, I used the skills I'd developed in training in real world applications and I built my confidence using them.Now, I work at Avon in their Data Science Department. My day is spent updating models for internal teams as well as understanding new data and the problems they provide to us. To do this, I use my analytical skills to understand the question and use the data to help provide the best answer to it. Then, I use my creative skills, which I've gained through a number of hobbies, to share the results in the form of a story that colleagues can understand and benefit from.
