William Sutter is the founder and President of Lakeview Fund Advisors. Lakeview assists startups and early-stage companies with issues regarding fundraising, investor relations, and corporate governance. Bill is an expert in corporate governance, having served on the board of directors of more than 35 public and private companies across a diverse range of industries and business models. The combination of his extensive real-world experience as a director, coupled with his academic knowledge of leading research and best practices as a professor, gives Bill a unique perspective on effective governance. As the Chairman of a public broadcasting group, he transitioned the company from founder management, weathered an activist investor campaign, and championed a digital media initiative. Bill served as a Board Leadership Fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors and has been a guest speaker at their Master Class programs.
