Data Scientist/Software Engineer
One of three founding members of Visionist’s Data Science Team. Assisted in building data-driven culture within the company and relaying that to customers. Currently researching and testing Machine Learning Systems and Algorithms for future internal and product use. Created an algorithm in Python in collaboration with two other Data Scientists to perform pattern and association matching in streaming data using co-occurrence measures around seed entries. In addition, worked with another Software Engineer to build UI to visualize dynamic, real-time results in browser using React.js, Redux, Express, and D3. Worked on Software Development team using Agile project management to support building UI using React.js, Redux, Go, and Semantic UI. Participated in user testing to gain better understanding of User interaction with product and their needs. Used Ubuntu for development environment and git on all projects for version control. Utilized Docker in order to make projects more portable and deliverable to customer.
